29th July , 2024
Department of Fashion Designing
The Department of Fashion Designing at Patna Women’s College celebrated ‘International Tiger Day’ on July 29, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. This day serves as a powerful reminder of the significant role that tigers play in maintaining the balance of the ecosystem. During the event, the department organized a poster-making and T-shirt painting program as part of an awareness program to conserve wildlife, especially tigers. Biological diversity is a global asset for our future generations. Students created and wrote many slogans related to this theme. Many tiger images were inspired by the folk art of India. All 36 students of PG and UG semester 1 participated in this program. The event was conducted under the guidance of the department head, Dr. Shemushi Madhu, coordinator Ms. Geetanjali Chaudhry, and faculty Ms. Asha Pandey. Their paintings were both informative and creative.
