1.EVENT:GUEST LECTURE ON ROLE OF YOUTH IN DIGITISATION AND CYBER SECURITY

An event was organised with the aim to make youth aware about cyber security and keep themselves ahead.For digital dividends, Vishwa Yuvak Kendra and Prem youth foundation, Patna in association with Patna Women’s College organised an institutional tie up program on the theme ‘Role of youth in digitization and cyber security’ in the campus of Patna Women’s College, Autonomous. MsD ilmaniMishraex-MLA BrahmapurVidhanSabha and

ex- chairperson, State Women Commission, Bihar inaugurated the event. Dr. Vinita Priyedarshi, Head, Department of Political Science, Patna Women’s College, Autonomous, Prof.Prem Kumar, founder, Prem youth foundation and Mr Manjunath K, Programme Officer, VYK were also present on the occasion.

 

 

 

2.EVENT:GUEST LECTURE ON RESEARCH METHODOLOGY

A guest lecture was organised on ‘Research Methodology’ by ECO SPECTRUM with the

Eco Forum of Department of Economics in collaboration with Department of Geography and Political Science. The Resource person was Dr.Aviral Pandey, Assistant Professor, Division of Economics and Agricultural Economics from A N Sinha Institute of Social Sciences, Patna. It was attended by students of Department of Economics, Geography and PG students of Political Science. Dr. Pandey walked with students through the intricacies of research methodology. The students were able to understand how to formulate a research problem. The research design the data collection methods and the difference between quantitative and qualitative analysis. It was an enriching experience for them. The session ended with vote of thanks.

 

3.EVENT: PERSONALITY DEVELOPMENT

The personality class  of BA SEMESTER VI was taken by Mr. Adweetiya Sinha. The students were shown a short film titled ‘ Everything is fine’. Th students were spellbound after watching it because it talked about how a woman of their mother’s age would feel in the times of patriarchy. The students have witnessed similar notions of their mothers and their everyday struggle.

 

4.EVENT: PERSONALITY DEVELOPMENT

The personality class for MA 1 was taken by Ms. Simran Sinha. The students were shown  as hort film ‘ Everything is fine’. The short film depicts a mother’s desire to break free who has been married for  almost thirty- five years. The students understood the emotions of a mother and a wife who sacrifices her dreams and desires for the society.

The personality class for BA 1 was taken by Ms. Taniya Banerjee. The film depicts the conversation between a mother and a daughter. The different emotions, desires, humiliation is shown in the short film. The students shared the personal experiences of everyday lives and how they have always taken their mother granted.
