Brief Report-

The Department of Zoology at Patna Women’s College effectively coordinated a Two-day National Webinar on September 22nd and 23rd, 2020. The webinar focused primarily on “Road Map for Wildlife Conservation and use of Technologies.” Shri Dipak Kumar Singh (IAS), the Principal Secretary of the Department of Forests and Environment, Government of Bihar, served as the Keynote Speaker on the first day. He highlighted the specific wildlife conservation roadmap for Bihar. On the second day, Shri P K Gupta, the Chief Wildlife Warden of the Department of Forests and Environment, Government of Bihar, was the Keynote Speaker. He shared insights into the measures taken for wildlife management at Valmiki Tiger Reserve (VTR), Bihar. Dr. Shobha Shrivastava, Associate Professor, Department of Zoology, Patna Women’s College, delivered the Vote of Thanks, concluding the event. The entire webinar was well-organized under the guidance of Dr. Sister M. Rashmi A.C., Principal, Patna Women’s College, Autonomous.
