Nukkad Natak & Cyber Awareness talk on “Empowering women in digital spaces”
The Department of Computer Science and Applications, in collaboration with the Economic Offences Unit of Bihar Police and C-DAC Patna, organized an event on cyber awareness. MR. Praveen Kumar and Mr. Braj Kishor Prasad, Assistant Professor, Department of MCA, welcomed the guests by offering plant saplings. The resource persons were Mr. Jagdish (Coordinator of ISEA) , Ms. Sonal Kamal, and Mr. Prakash Kaushal.
The programme started by Nukkad Natak performance of First year students of MCA, Artificial Intelligence, and Data Science departments. MCA students performed a play on mobile and social media risks, while the Data Science team highlighted digital threats in their play “Data Dynamic.” The AI department showed the risks of clicking unknown links and installing unverified apps.
The programme was then followed by a Cyber Awareness talk by the Experts from CDAC. Mr. Jagdish praised the performances and stressed cyber awareness. Ms. Sonal gave a presentation on data security, digital risks, and safety tips. Mr. Prakash Kumar discussed mobile security threats and strong password practices.
The event concluded with an interactive Q&A session. Ms. Raunak Afroz, the student of MCA Semester 3, moderated the program and proposed the vote of thanks. Faculty members and students of MCA, Data Science and Artificial Intelligence departments were present during the programme.
