Brief Report:
The Department of English, Patna Women’s College organised the Annual Poetry Competition ‘I Write, I Recite’ on 25th October 2021 in the Carmel Hall at 11 a.m. The theme of the poetry competition for this year was ‘Fear’. The judges were Ms. Priyanka Pandey of Navodaya School, Sheohar and Dr Shahla Rehana, Associate Professor and Former Head, Dept. of English, Patna Women’s College. Ms Priyanka Pandey is a poet and alumnae of the Department. A total of 23 students participated from both the UG and PG streams.
They recited self-composed poems on the topic ‘Fear’. This activity helps them to enhance their writing and language skills.
