Zoology Alumni Meet 2023
The Department of Zoology, Patna Women’s College, Autonomous, Patna University, Patna organized an Alumni Meet on 16.09.2023.
The programme began with lighting of the lamp followed by a melodious welcome song by the students of Sem-III.
Dr. Shobha Shrivastava, Head, Department of Zoology, welcomed and appreciated the Alumni for taking out time from their busy schedule to attend the programme.
Then the students of Sem-I presented a mesmerizing dance performance. Dr. Sapna Kumari presented glimpses of the Department, the facilities in the campus managed by the Department and the activities undertaken by the Department.
Although many had registered but 25 Alumni were able to attend the meet today. All of them were feeling nostalgic and excited meeting after a long gap. They shared their memories, experience and the time spent in this college. All of them appreciated the past and present teachers of the Department. They acknowledged that they have learnt many attributes like discipline, punctuality, respect, empathy, love, tolerance, honesty and above all, humanity in this campus.
All of them enjoyed the games and the ramp walk. They went round the classrooms, campus, new Auditorium and the newly built cafeteria.
Dr. Rachna Sahay of 1990-93 batch was crowned Miss Alumni.
Compering was done by Amisha Kumari and Fiza Khanam of Sem-III and Vote of thanks was proposed by Shreshtha of PG-III. The volunteers were from all the semesters of the Department. All the teachers of the Department of Zoology, Patna Women’s College participated and made the Alumni Meet a successful and memorable event.
