Dept of English Alumni Meet-2023
On 16th September, 2023, Department of English, Patna Women’s College organised an Alumni Meet, Rendezvous 2023 in the Carmel Hall from 2.30 pm onwards.
The programme began with a welcome song which was followed by the welcome address by Dr Sahar Rahman, Associate Professor and Head, Department of English. In her address, she welcomed the alumni and presented a brief report on the progress the department has made keeping to the demands of time.
She also deliberated on the importance of the alumni as one of the stakeholders of the institution specially for NAAC assessment and accreditation.
Her address was followed by a few games in which winners were given surprise prizes. The next programme was a medley that included both English and Hindi songs.
The alumnae also shared their experiences in the department and expressed their happiness to be back to the campus again.
The programme was co-ordinated by Dr Prabhat Jha and Dr Apurba Paul, Assistant Professors of the department of English. The programme was moderated by Ms Pushpangana Rajkriti and Ms Samriddhi Raj, students of Semester 5.
