International Day of Happiness 2024

International Day of Happiness is celebrated every year on March 20th. This special day aims to spread awareness about the importance of happiness in our lives. The United Nation recognizes happiness and well- being as universal goals.

To join in celebrating this International Day of Happiness
Patna Women’s College, Autonomous, Patna University created a Happiness space. It was an initiative by Dr. Sister M. Rashmi A.C. , Principal, Patna Women’s College and organised by Department of Physics to spread joy. The event was a grand success and achieved it’s goal of spreading happiness. The event was coordinated by Dr. Kavita Verma and all the faculty members of Department of Physics. The tree of happiness was placed at the college main gate and the smileys were kept in one corner.
The students and teachers wrote their feelings on “One thing that makes you happy” and hung it on the tree. All the students of all the departments gladly and cheerfully participated and tied the knots of happiness.
The selfie point and the sweetness corner were also one of the attractions.
