Microbiology Alumni Meet 2024
The Department of Microbiology, Patna Women’s College, Autonomous, organised a Departmental Alumni Meet on 17th October 2024 from 2:30 pm. The invited alumni were warmly welcomed with a card and rose as a token of gratitude. The program commenced by invoking God’s blessings through a prayer dance, followed by a melodious welcome song.Thereafter, Dr.Jaya Philip, Head, Department of Microbiology, delivered the welcome speech expressing her gratitude for the support and co-operation received by the alumni of the department. A Powerpoint related to College Fest was also shown followed by cake-cutting by the Alumni.
Further, The talented dancers mesmerised the audience with their elegance during captivating dance performances bringing back nostalgic memories of college days for the alumni.
The students hosted interactive games for the alumni.
Towards the end of the program, the alumni were invited to share their feelings. Their words of admiration inspired and motivated the young minds.
The program was hosted by the anchors, Suchika Rathur, Semester I and Annet Anand Semester III. The event concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Annet Anand of Semester III.
