AD MAD Competetion:
Department of Commerce organised AD MAD Competition on 21st September 2021. Students of Semester V participated in the competition where they exhibited their talent and tried to sell imaginary products like Boom Baam Surf, Chamatkari Chappal, etc through advertisement presented with utmost creativity and madness. The judges for the event were Dr Shahla Yasmin, Dr Ameeta Jaiswal and Dr Shazia Rahman.
On 26th May,2022 the Department of Commerce organised a ‘Digital Awareness Programme’ in Collaboration with Reserve Bank of India, Patna which commenced in Carmel Hall for the students of B. Com Semester II. The Programme was attended by around 150 participants.
The Chief Guest, Mrs. Ranjeeta Chowdhary, DGM, Reserve Bank of India Patna, highlighted on the vital points on awareness about Digital Payment system. The session was followed by the presentation given by Guest of Honour, Shri Arindam Chakraborty, AGM, Reserve Bank of India, Patna. He discussed about various payment mechanism like NEFT, RTGS etc. and other aspects related to Internet banking. He provided an insight of the various types of frauds in Digital space. All the inquisitive queries by the students were answered and resolved by the speaker. The Programme was concluded with an interactive session and Quiz with students on e-Baat.
Department of Commerce organised Slogan Writing Competition to celebrate “Azadi ka Amrit Mahotasav”.
Department of Commerce organised Poster Making Competition on Earth Day 2022 , on the theme – Invest in Planet on 22nd April 2022 for the students of B.Com Semester II to sensitise them about the significance of protection and conservation of our planet earth and it’s environment.
26 groups of students participated in the Competition and exhibited their creativity on posters with strong messages an appeal to protect Planet Earth.
